Introducing the Fabulous Women’s Fiction/Chick Lit Crusaders

Posted by Dahlia on March 5, 2011

The second Writers’ Platform-Building Crusade is now in its second month and I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the Women’s Fiction/Chick Lit Crusade Group, which is the group that I have been placed into. We’re all at various stages in our writing, from aspiring to published. You can check out my fellow group member’s blogs for advice, book reviews, book excerpts, and other cool information.

  1. Madeleine over at Scribble and Edit is a writer from the UK. You can find a variety of good writing on her blog from Haikus to prose to microfiction.
  2. Follow Su and her writing journey on her blog Cheekyness. You can also find her writing excerpts on the blog. Su currently resides in Texas.
  3. Meika is from Michigan (yay, so am I 🙂 ). Her blog, Waiting on the Muse, chronicles her writing process. This aspiring writer has two WIPs — Playing Nice, and (Plan) B is for Baby.
  4. Len L’s blog Conversations with Self, started as a personal journal and has since evolved to include book/movie reviews and author interviews. Len is from the UK.
  5. Amber Slattery is truly sharing her journey with her followers. Her blog, Valerie and Julia, is her novel in process of the same name. So check it out and leave some feedback.
  6. Jennifer Elliott is from Wisconsin and is the writer of two book series: The Vodka Girls and God’s Good Girls. Vodka Four, the first of the Vodka Girls series is available at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, and Wordclay.com. You can follow her on her blog, Life of a Writer.
  7. Louise Wise is a UK native and the published author of two novels, Eden and A Proper Charlie. Her blog, Wise Words, is focused on her novels as well as promoting other writers.
  8. Donna Hole is based out of California and has three completed novels. Recently, she announced that her short story, Two Minutes In Tomorrow, will be published in Bewildering Stories. Congratulations, Donna! **throws confetti** Check out her blog, Donna Hole.
  9. Cally Jackson is from Australia and is currently working on her first novel, Tangled. Her self-titled blog, Cally Jackson, has book reviews and writing excerpts.
